Transportation
Getting to school - there are many options!
Eastside Catholic is committed to being a good neighbor in our local community. We utilize buses, carpools and public transit to minimize traffic congestion around campus and to be mindful of the environment. All students are strongly encouraged to commute to school via bus or carpool. If you need help with bus schedules or carpools, please contact us to discuss the options available to our students.
Bus Passes and Schedules
Eastside Catholic students come from across the region thanks to the convenient school bus transportation. Students can purchase an annual pass, a monthly pass or single-use tickets, as well as morning-only and afternoon-only passes.
Please note: Stops and schedules are subject to change. Unless otherwise notified, buses will complete their dedicated bus routes while school is in session. The Activity Bus route may not run on certain school days or may run on a varied schedule.
EC offers these dedicated bus routes:
- Renton • Newcastle • Issaquah
- Seattle • Mercer Island • Bellevue • Redmond
- Totem Lake • Kirkland • Redmond
- Auburn • Maple Valley • Snoqualmie Ridge • Issaquah Highlands
Our home-to-school transportation program contracts with Harlow’s Bus Service.

Students are required to swipe their pass (Zonar Z-Pass) to get on and off the bus.
- All bus riders are required to use a Z-Pass bus card every day.
- In the mornings, students scan their Z-Pass when they board the bus at their bus stop AND as they exit the bus when they arrive on campus.
- In the afternoon, students scan their Z-Pass when they board the bus at school AND when they exit the bus at their designated bus stop.
- Students are responsible for their Z-Pass and should keep it in a secure location.
