Class of 2026 Graduation

7:30 p.m.

Benaroya Hall, Seattle

The Class of 2026 graduation ceremony is Monday, June 8, at 7:30 p.m., at Benaroya Hall in Seattle. Seniors must arrive no later than 6:45 p.m. and should proceed to the main lobby of Benaroya Hall.

Professional dress is required for students. Seniors should also wear their graduation gown (zipped up), cap, tassel (on the right-hand side of the cap), stole and any earned honor and club cords. Please note that the aisle to the stage is relatively steep, and low-heeled shoes are strongly encouraged.

Due to strict Benaroya Hall rules, students CANNOT decorate graduation caps. Any decorated caps will be removed and returned after the ceremony concludes.

There are no capacity limitations at Benaroya Hall. Students can bring as many family members, friends and guests as they wish, and tickets are not required.

Parking is available in the Benaroya Hall garage and many nearby lots. Benaroya Hall is ADA-compliant and has plenty of seats throughout the auditorium. The ushers will check the lobby for wheelchair users and others who need assistance before opening the doors to the public.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for everyone. Please note the lobby is very congested before and after the ceremony. Before the start of the ceremony, we recommend communicating a place to meet with your senior and your family members after the ceremony concludes.

Seniors, please note that the following items are NOT allowed on stage during the ceremony (including, but not limited to): sunglasses, earbuds, gum, water bottles or noisemakers. Phones must be completely turned off and remain in your pocket (phones cannot be held) for the entire graduation ceremony.

We kindly ask that all family members and guests remain seated during the graduation ceremony. A Lifetouch photographer will take photos of each graduate as they walk across the stage and receive their diploma. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated to ensure a smooth and memorable event for everyone.

After the ceremony, families can obtain the graduation ceremony photos directly from Lifetouch.

Important Graduation Ceremony Guidelines at Benaroya Hall

To ensure a safe, respectful and enjoyable experience for all attendees, we kindly ask all families and guests to observe the following Benaroya Hall guidelines before, after and during our graduation ceremony:

  • All outside food, balloons, blow horns, confetti, signage or objects that claim space in the Grand Lobby are NOT permitted by Benaroya. These items violate Benaroya Hall’s strict fire and safety codes. Guests who arrive with any prohibited items will be asked to surrender them to event staff, where they will be held until you exit the venue.

  • Individual graduate celebrations that claim floor space in the Grand Lobby MUST be held offsite and are NOT permitted on Benaroya Hall premises. Please also note, outside food is NOT allowed inside Benaroya Hall. While we deeply respect and honor these personal milestones and traditions, these individual planned celebrations violate Benaroya’s strict fire and safety codes. Please plan on celebrating your graduate with family and friends at a different and private location.

  • Loitering or any large gathering in the Grand Lobby during the graduation ceremony is also not allowed by Benaroya. Guests who are not attending the ceremony inside the concert hall are kindly asked to enjoy the event from home via the livestream. Benaroya staff will ask individuals to take a seat inside the concert hall.

Thank you for helping us be respectful guests of Benaroya Hall. Please note that disregard for the venue’s requirements by students, families or guests may impact Eastside Catholic School’s future use of this special location, potentially limiting ticket availability to future graduation ceremonies for all families.

Thank you for your understanding and support in making this graduation celebration meaningful and smooth for everyone involved.

June 8

Grad Night 2026

Grad Night 2026 is a senior class parent-sponsored event that begins immediately following the graduation ceremony. It is an all-night, chaperoned event with dinner, breakfast, games, music, prizes and plenty of entertainment!

Seniors will depart directly from Benaroya Hall. Buses board at Benaroya Hall and will return to the EC campus on Tuesday, June 9, at 6 a.m. Please note: Seniors should arrange for someone to pick them up from Eastside Catholic on June 9, so they are not driving after staying up all night.

All participating seniors must complete the Senior Release form before the event.

Seniors should also bring their overnight bags, clearly labeled with their names and the clothes they intend to wear for the event. EC staff members will collect bags in the Benaroya Hall lobby before the graduation ceremony. After the ceremony, seniors will return this overnight bag to a family member before the bus departs. The destination is a surprise, but we recommend comfortable clothing, a sweatshirt and closed-toe shoes.

Grad Night scholarships are available so that every student can attend! Please email TBD to inquire about scholarships or if you have any questions.
