The following information outlines important dates for seniors. We want all seniors and their families to enjoy these special events, so please check back here for the latest updates and information.

Place Orders for Graduation Regalia on Campus

National Achiever Services will return to campus to answer questions and collect orders. ORDER ONLINE: You can order your cap and gown unit (which comes with a tassel and sash) on the Herff Jones website. Please see them outside of Student Services during senior lunch, 11:05 - 11:35 a.m.

If any student is in need of financial assistance, please see Mrs. Farmer in the Business Office.

Senior "Shout-Out"

 

Senior "shout-out" (created by senior) due to yearbook staff - hsyearbook@eastsidecatholic.org. The following items may be included (any or all) in the shout-outs: quotation, shout-outs, favorite memory, activities and/or future plans.

Shout-outs online form can be accessed by students here: https://tinyurl.com/SrSO2019. Students who miss the deadline will be given the following “generic” shout-out: Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Shout-out: To my family and friends.

Senior Pictures Due

 

Senior Pictures are due to the yearbook staff (via email lsnow@eastsidecatholic.org, hsyearbook@eastsidecatholic.org; or via eshare: hjeshare.com, school code GoCru). Please label your photo: Senior Photo with (Student Full Name). Specs for your photographer: 2" w x 3” w, RGB color, 300 dpi. Please submit as high-res as possible.

 

December 10

 

Senior Ads Due

 

Senior ads (optional and first come, first served) are available for sale from the beginning of school through December 10. Due to the large number of seniors, we will only be selling 1/4 and 1/2 page ads. We are working to accommodate as many students as possible. This year only 1/4 ($100) or 1/2 ($200) page ads will be sold. Use this form to order.

Deadline for Online National Achiever Orders

 

Last day to place your online order for graduation regalia at nationalachiever.com.

Formal Group Portrait

 

This photo has become an annual tradition at EC and is used to congratulate the students and for marketing materials. Liturgy dress will be required on this day. Girls will be seated and should plan to wear a dress or skirt that reaches to the knee or below. Long skirts/maxis are encouraged. More information will be sent regarding this photo.

 

April 30 Caps and Gowns Delivered Cap and gown orders will be available for pickup during all lunch periods outside of Student Services.

College Decision Day Group Photo

 

Wear swag from your chosen college, university or post high school adventure for a photo with your class!

Tuition, Fees and Fines Paid

 

All tuition, fees and fines must be paid by this date

Senior Tribute

 

All seniors are expected to attend and senior parents will not want to miss it! Seniors must arrive by 7 a.m. for their individual head-shot picture. Liturgy dress is required. A reception hosted by the sophomore class will follow the Senior Tribute. After Senior Tribute and the reception, seniors will be dismissed with their families for the day.

 

May 28 - 31

 

Final Exams for Seniors

 

 
May 29 Senior Class Lunch The Senior Class Lunch will be hosted by Boosters. An all school assembly will be held as well.
May 30 Blessing of the Senior Gift A blessing will be provided for the senior class gift. Seniors will also clean out their lockers this day, return library books and finish other school-related business. The Moving Up Assembly will also be held this day.
May 31

 

Graduation Rehearsal

 

Rehearsal will begin promptly at 1 p.m. Seniors must be at rehearsal in order to walk at graduation. Any honor cords that are earned will be distributed at rehearsal. The schoolhouse will be open from 3 - 3:30 p.m. for seniors who would like to give a out-of-town guests a tour of campus.

 

May 31

 

Baccalaureate Mass

 

Baccalaureate Mass is held on Friday, May 31 at 7 p.m. at Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Sammamish. Seniors will wear their graduation gowns and sashes, but not caps.

 

June 3

 

Graduation

 

The ceremony takes place Monday, June 3 at 7:30 p.m. at Benaroya Hall in downtown Seattle. Students will need to arrive no later than 6:30 p.m. - please account for rush hour traffic. Further details will be emailed this spring. A student seating chart will be posted in May.

Grad Night 2019

 

This event is parent-sponsored and encourages 100% student participation. Seniors will be picked up at Benaroya Hall after graduation. Buses will depart promptly at 10:30 p.m. The destination is a surprise but a sweatshirt and closed-toed shoes are recommended. Buses will return to EC campus Tuesday, June 4 by 6:15 a.m. Parents should plan to pick up so students are not driving after being up all night. As a reminder, no cell phones, bags, large oversized jackets or backpacks will be allowed. More information will be forthcoming from the planning committee in the spring.
