Touchstone Leadership Awards

Recognizing excellence within the Eastside Catholic community

The Touchstone Leadership Awards presents an opportunity for Eastside Catholic to recognize outstanding community members for their achievements. In recognition of Eastside Catholic School’s 35th anniversary, this year’s Touchstone Leadership Awards Dinner honored our school’s founders who embody the touchstones of academic excellence, relationships and servant leadership.

Eastside Catholic School Touchstones

Academic Excellence
  • Pursued, at a high level, studies that foster God’s gifts of curiosity, creativity, and spirit of wonder
  • Practiced the following habits of mind: intellectual courage, humility, empathy, integrity and perseverance
  • Demonstrated mastery in writing, reading, speaking and active listening
  • Applied the principles of Catholic Social Teachings to societal structures and contemporary world problems
  • Understood and respected other faith traditions through ecumenical and inter-religious dialog
  • Examined and embraced the value of a diverse, interconnected world by understanding and appreciating the dignity and worth of all persons
