Eastside Catholic requires prospective students to take an entrance examination, preferably the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE), to be considered for admission, merit-based awards and class placement. Applicants should take the test as soon as possible and include the Eastside Catholic School code on their registration form.
You may take the test at a variety of Puget Sound locations
, but for your convenience EC will offer the test on campus November 5, 2016 and January 7, 2017. The test consists of multiple choice questions for verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, reading comprehension and mathematics as well as an essay section. The ISEE takes about three hours to complete.
If it is not convenient to take the ISEE at an area independent school, an alternative is to schedule the exam at the Prometric location. More information is available on the ISEE website.
To register for the examination, visit the ISEE website. Registration is on a first-come first-served basis and closes approximately three weeks prior to the testing date. Please contact Assistant Director of Admissions James Ward at firstname.lastname@example.org or 425-295-3017 with questions regarding the testing process.
In lieu of the ISEE, we will accept the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT), the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) or the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).
