Supporting students' quest for learning

The James P. Kubacki Library at Eastside Catholic prepares students to succeed in their academic pursuits and promotes reading as recreation.
The library represents our EC touchstone of academic excellence, challenging students to develop as critical thinkers, respond to a rigorous curriculum, collaborate and communicate across disciplines, cultivate the exchange of new ideas and develop the cultural competence necessary to function in an increasingly complex, global society.

Specifically, the library supports the academic work of our students and faculty by:
  • teaching research skills in grades six-12
  • providing access to authentic resources
  • integrating technology into our curriculum
  • offering reference services
  • nurturing readers
To supplement EC library resources, we recommend that all EC students acquire a King County Library System library card to take advantage of the extensive print and electronic collections of our excellent public libraries. Visit for more information.
