Senior students participated in the annual Senior Pilgrimage on Saturday, September 21, for a day-long, 9.5-mile hike along the Snoqualmie Valley Trail from Snoqualmie Falls to Carnation.
This retreat is a symbolic journey for seniors and focuses on self-reflection and preparation for their final year on campus. The hike, led by students, is interspersed with prayer, discussion, activities, personal faith reflections, food breaks and games.
The Senior Pilgrimage Cross, which resides in the Chapel during the school year, is carried by students on the hike. The cross displays a pendant from every senior class that has completed the pilgrimage since 1982, the first year it took place.
Senior Pilgrimage is one of Eastside Catholic's oldest and most beloved retreats and often a highlight of both students, faculty and staff who participate.
We look forward to seeing what the future holds for the Class of 2025!
