Middle School Band and Choir Earn Honors at Music in the Parks Silverwood Festival
Seventh and eighth grade band and choir students traveled to Idaho to perform at the Music in the Parks Silverwood festival on May 6-8 to compete against seven other schools from Washington, Idaho and Montana. Congratulations to concert band, jazz band and choir who all earned first place in their division!
Judges from the festival provided the following ratings for our students: concert band earned an "excellent" rating, jazz band earned a "good" rating and choir earned a "superior" rating. Concert band also received the "Overall Band" award for the highest score in all divisions!
