Middle School Band and Choir Dominate Music in the Parks 2023-24
On May 10-12, middle school band and choir students traveled to Idaho to perform in the Music in the Parks Silverwood Festival. They competed against 14 other schools from Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana.
Both band and choir earned Superior ratings (highest possible), took first place in their respective divisions and earned the Overall Best Middle School Concert Band and Overall Best Middle School Concert Choir awards for having the highest scores, regardless of division of any middle school band/choir at the festival.
