Celebrating Excellence in Music
These talented students were chosen through rigorous auditions to participate in the WMEA Honor Ensembles, which will convene in Spokane, Washington, from February 13-16. Nearly 1,900 high school students and 1,700 middle school students applied for this coveted opportunity. Participants will engage in rehearsals and activities led by world-renowned conductors, culminating in extraordinary performances.

Additionally, the WIBC Honor band met in November in SeaTac, where high school musicians from across the nation rehearsed and performed under the guidance of distinguished international conductors and guest soloists.

The WMEA, representing 22 regions statewide, is dedicated to ensuring that every student in Washington has access to a comprehensive music education.
