Students emerge from our summer camps with new ideas, new skills, new friends and new inspirations. We provide a fun, affordable and enriching experience where elementary, middle school and high school-aged learners can focus on academics, the arts, community service or athletics.

Led by Eastside Catholic faculty and coaches and other experts from the community, our summer camps build upon curriculum from the school year and encourage exploration and thinking in a completely new subject or activity. You do not need to attend Eastside Catholic to attend our summer camps.

Campers can attend a morning and afternoon camp on the same day with the option to remain on campus for a supervised lunch period between camps. Campers must bring their own, nut-free lunch each day.

Please Note: Limited space is available. Camp descriptions and dates are subject to change based on public health mandates. Registration for each camp will close 1 week prior to the camp start date.

Seattle Seahawk Tyler Lockett and EC coaches will offer tips and hands-on instruction, including lectures, fundamental football skills stations, contests and non-contact games in a high-energy, fun and positive environment with cleanliness and sanitation measures in place. Campers will be placed in small groups by age to ensure that each student receives maximum instruction featuring a 10:1 maximum camper to coach ratio. The camp will be staffed by some of the area's top high school and college coaches. This camp is open to boys and girls, grades 1-8.

Grab your racket and head to the EC Clark Family Tennis Pavilion courts! Whether you’re a first-time player or a veteran, this camp is for you! EC’s head tennis coach and varsity players will help you become confident with the basic skills to play a tennis match. Before you know it, you’ll understand the game and be able to volley, hit groundstrokes and serve a tennis ball. Our goal is for you to discover a love for tennis while having a ton of fun! Attend by yourself or bring a friend and we’ll see you on the courts!

Please bring a water bottle, a hat, visor or sunglasses, sunblock, non-scuffing tennis shoes and a racket! Campers will be able to borrow a racket if they do not have one.

Whether your child is on a balance bike, a tricycle or has already mastered riding on two wheels, our incredible instructors help riders develop their bike and safety skills that they can rely on for a lifetime! Kids will make new friends while doing fun bicycle activities.

Strengthen your pre-algebra and linear algebra skills to prepare for middle school non-linear algebra or high school algebra. This course will briefly review the concepts of ratio, rate and proportion and will review operations with integers and order of operations. We will focus on linear algebra skills where you will learn to translate information among tables, graphs and equations. You will learn how to combine like terms, solve inequalities, draw a best fit line on a scatter plot and find an equation for that line.

Please note: This is a two-week camp that runs Monday through Friday, July 11-15 and
July 18-22.

This three-day camp is designed to develop each player’s skills and abilities regardless of skill level. The camp is open to all boys entering grades 3-8. Players will be divided into training groups by age and ability. Taught by EC basketball coaching staff and current and former players, this camp will incorporate fundamental skill development and competition for players of all levels.

Join us this summer and learn about the amazing science of living things that can be found hiding in plain sight! Feed berries to mealworms, observe the microscopic life of water, make a pill bug habitat, learn to pollinate like a bee and much more! Campers will dive into ocean research with their own robotic fish, develop inventions for space exploration, build a spinning robotic artist and design a mega-marble arcade! Students who enjoy reading and writing will love this camp! Campers will experience a variety of age- and grade-appropriate reading and writing activities throughout the week. Please have your camper bring a book of their choice from home each day. On the last day of camp, we will walk to the Sammamish Library. Please let us know if your camper will need to sign up for a library card while we are there.

This camp is a unique opportunity for you to improve fundamental skills. Our goal is to aid the development of each player, from rookie to experienced, by working on ball handling, one-on-one moves, passing, post play, shooting, defensive principles and perimeter play while further honing these skills in competitive games. Members of the EC coaching staff, along with current and former EC football players, will teach you the same offensive and defensive techniques that coaches teach in high school, college and the NFL. In this two-day camp, you will receive personal attention and team instruction to help improve your skills and leadership abilities. There will be individual instruction for quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, offensive and defensive linemen, linebackers, tight ends and defensive backs.

This camp offers students a chance to learn how to be an effective leader through indoor and outdoor games and activities, leadership lessons and team building activities! Leadership camp provides an amazing opportunity to learn valuable skills, create lasting friendships and prepare for the upcoming school year. Topics will include communication skills, positive teamwork, problem-solving, decision-making and creating a positive school climate at your school. You will become a more confident leader by the end of this camp!

Areas of focus will include building the college list, understanding different types of applications, how to research colleges, how to communicate with a college admissions office, strategies for writing supplemental essays, how to approach senior year and other topics related to college applications. Campers will complete service hours at local nonprofits like the Sammamish Boys and Girls Club and Vedic Cultural Center. Alternatively, depending on current COVID-19 guidelines, campers will complete service projects on campus if we cannot visit other organizations. Campers will work on service projects for the homeless, currently deployed troops and more.

This popular course will help you prepare your personal statement for college applications. We will examine prompts from the Common App and Coalition App, review successful models of personal statements and spend time brainstorming, drafting and revising a statement of your own. By the end of the course, you will have a complete draft of a personal statement that you can use for college applications and feel a sense of accomplishment knowing you have a jumpstart on the process of applying to colleges in the fall!

Transportation is all around! Cars, buses, trains and airplanes are all vital for communities around the world to stay connected. In Snapology’s “Planes, Trains and Automobiles” camp, your young learners will explore the importance of transportation and build models of cars, trains, boats and more using Kid K'NEX®. Most importantly, campers will experience meaningful social interactions while working with a partner and learning with the group. Get ready for your child to learn a whole new set of transportation facts!

SUMMER PROGRAMS Late Pickup Fees

A charge of $1 per minute (per family) will be charged for all pickups occurring past 12:15 p.m. for morning camps and 4:15 p.m. for afternoon camps. If you are going
to be late, please call the Front Office at 425-295-3000 to inform them of your expected arrival time, or to inform them that someone else will pick up your camper. Please contact Summer Program Coordinator Liz Anderson with questions.

COVID-19 Refund Policy

At Eastside Catholic School, the safety and security of our students and staff are our top priority. Our refund policy has been amended to include refunds for summer camps in the event of cancellations due to COVID-19. Please contact Summer School Registrar Liz Anderson with questions.

SUMMER PROGRAMS Refund Policy

Refunds are given only when Eastside Catholic cancels a camp. Refunds are not given when the camp is held but a student does not participate in the camp for any reason. Summer Camp participants are expected to comply with all program policies, including behavior that is respectful to instructors and other students, or the student is subject to dismissal from the camp without a refund.
