All high school athletes must have a current physical on file before participating in any sport. Physicals are valid for two years from the date of the exam. Completed and signed forms may be submitted by:
Kate Stone, a Seattle native, started playing soccer at the age of five. She played for a local club in South Seattle for 13 years, winning four state championships with her club team and back-to-back state championships with her high school team, Kennedy Catholic.
Kate attended the University of Arizona on a full athletic scholarship where she was a member of the inaugural women's soccer program, earning her team a spot in the University of Arizona Hall of Fame.
After college, Kate immediately began coaching and has coached at multiple clubs, including Highline Soccer Association, Bellevue Youth Soccer and Eastside FC. After 16 years in the corporate world, she transitioned to full-time coaching at Eastside FC. She joined Eastside Catholic’s Athletic Department in 2021, where her love for coaching and soccer continues to bring her back to the pitch.
Nataliya Danesh
Assistant Varsity Coach
Coach Nataliya has been the assistant coach for EC's soccer program since 2020. She was born and raised in Bellevue, Washington, where she began her soccer career at 3. She attended and played soccer at Newport High School and continued to play on the women's club team while attending Seattle University. She graduated in 2018 with a BA in economics. Aside from coaching, she works as an operations manager for a telecommunications company in Bellevue.
Paul Morrisroe
JV Head Coach
Coach Paul Morrisroe brings a passionate approach to his coaching roles at Eastside Catholic and has been an integral part of the EC coaching staff since 2022. He has successfully led the boys and girls soccer JV teams and spearheaded the girls flag football program. Coach Morrisroe holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Gonzaga University and a master’s from Georgetown University. Coach Morrisroe has been a U.S. history teacher at EC for seven years and was awarded Washington State Teacher of the Year in 2020.
