Coach Greenwood joined EC as the head coach for boys soccer in 2016. He is a retired U.S. soccer player who has played in Major League Soccer, USISL and the National Professional Soccer League. Coach Greenwood grew up in Washington state and attended Federal Way High School where he was an All-State soccer player and All-Conference basketball player. Following high school, he continued to play club soccer with FC Heat which won the Washington State U-19 championship. In 1992, he attended Seattle Pacific University where he was a 1995 first team All-American. In March 1996, the Columbus Crew selected Greenwood in the second round (20th overall) in the 1996 MLS College Draft. From 1999-2001 he played in Europe for 1 FC Nuremberg in Germany. Since his playing days, Coach Greenwood has been giving back to the game by coaching soccer at various levels including with Eastside FC, Highline Heat, elite training clinics and D1 developmental programs.
After an 81-59 win over Bishop Blanchet, the boys basketball team proved they are one of the top teams in the Metro League.

Eastside Catholic and O'Dea will make history when they play for the WIAA 3A Football State Championship on Friday, November 30.
With a win over Bellevue High School on Saturday, November 24, the Crusaders advanced to the WIAA 3A State Football Championship against O'Dea High School on Friday, November 30, 7:30 p.m. at the Tacoma Dome.
Sam Adams may share the same name as his father, who played in the NFL, but he's establishing his own reputation on the football field.
