- Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation Form
All high school athletes must have a current physical on file prior to participation in athletics. Physicals are valid for two years.
- Tryout Information: Tryouts begin Monday, February 25, 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. Meet at the baseball field. Parent meetings will be held following tryouts by team level (varsity, JV and JV-C), date and time, TBD.
Kyle LarsenHead Coach
Coach Larsen hails from Sammamish, Washington and was an All-State player at Eastlake High School. He was drafted in the 14th round of the MLB draft out of high school, but declined the offer in order to attend the University of Washington. He was named a Freshman All-American and an All Pac-10 player. H received numerous other awards and holds many Husky records, including the career RBI record. He signed as a free agent with the New York Yankees and twice was named an All-Star in the A-level. He started coaching high school baseball as an assistant coach at Eastlake High School in 2008. He took over the Eastside Catholic program in 2012 and as a first year head coach, Kyle guided the Crusaders to a Metro Championship and the Crusaders first appearance in the 3A State Championship game, where the team finished second. Under Kyle, the Crusaders have won the Metro Championship three times (2012, 2016 and 2017) and have five State appearances in six seasons. Kyle and his wife Rebecca reside in Sammamish and have a one year old son, Kelton. They enjoy spending quality time with their families and catching any sleep that Kelton allows them to get.
Recent Class of 2019 graduates Harper Brown and Nicole Moe were named honorable mentions in the Washington State Sports Collectors Association (WSSCA) 3A All-State Team.
Senior Griffin Barker committed to play basketball at the University of Redlands next year.

Head Football Coach Dominic Daste didn’t think he’d have a career in coaching after his playing days at the University of Washington.
Varsity boys basketball had a great run in the WIAA 3A Hardwood Classic State Basketball Tournament. They narrowly lost to O'Dea, the eventual state champion, in the semifinals before defeating Rainier Beach for third place.
Sophomore Shane Nowell met with the Tacoma News Tribune after the state quarterfinal win against Ingraham to break down the game.
Stacey Stoutt has accepted an offer to continue in her role as acting athletic director for the current school year and will take the helm as our athletic director effective July 1, 2019. Dominic Daste has accepted an offer to lead the Crusader football team as head football coach effective July 1, 2019.
