Core Covenants

Eastside Catholic’s Core Covenants are inspired by the Touchstones that guide and define the expectations of all EC student-athletes. Developed in collaboration with the Athletic Department and head coaches from every sport in 2020, the Core Covenants reflect the values at the heart of EC athletics.
These covenants provide a shared vision and foundational expectations for all student-athletes. They establish a framework and identity we can be proud of—keeping our values at the forefront of everything we do in the classroom, in athletics and in the community.
True Competitor
A true competitor is prepared, disciplined and coachable. Their passion and attitude elevate the performance of everyone around them. They always have a positive attitude and never give up.
Family
We take responsibility for our actions and the actions of our team.
Accountability
We consistently prioritize our moral principles—honesty, respect, humility and compassion for others.
Integrity
We celebrate our common and diverse experiences while offering one another unconditional love and support.
