The Eastside Catholic Middle School and High School Choirs play a significant role in school events performing for school concerts, assemblies, liturgies, choir festivals, contests and at community events.

The choir program is open to all students in grades 6–12, welcoming singers of every experience level. What makes this program at EC so unique is that every sixth grader participates in choir as part of their curriculum—giving all students the chance to discover their voice and build confidence from the very beginning. Students may continue through middle school into high school, growing as musicians while contributing to a dynamic and spirited choral community.

More than music: A Place to Belong

At Eastside Catholic, choir is more than an ensemble—it's a community. Any ensemble can win trophies and sing at concerts, but EC choir students are uniquely dedicated to the program and each other. They rehearse during zero period and stay after school to prepare for concerts and other performances. Choir students help one another, are servant leaders in their program and are deeply invested in their music education. Their dedication strengthens the program and creates a welcoming environment where singers grow not only in skill, but in confidence, connection and character.

Choral Competitions

Both Middle School and High School choirs participate in annual competitions at Silverwood and Disneyland, consistently earning superior ratings, first-place awards and soloist honors.

Our choirs also collaborate with collegiate choral programs, such as Gonzaga University and Western Washington University, giving students valuable opportunities to learn from and perform alongside advanced choral ensembles.
