Our average class size is 17 students.

For the 2025-26 school year:

• Middle School: 210 students
• High School: 606 students.
• These numbers are relatively consistent year to year. 

Last year, students joined EC from 211 schools from over 60 zip codes.

• 41% joined from public schools
• 58% joined from independent schools
• 1% joined from home schools

• Eastside Catholic School offers Crusader for a Day visits beginning in September and concluding in February.
• Visits can be arranged on a case-by-case basis outside of this period.
• If you cannot visit in person, we also offer virtual tours and are happy to schedule a video conference with you so we can meet face-to-face.

• Yes, we encourage applications from international students.
• Applicants must be fluent in English and able to fully engage in a college preparatory curriculum with minimal language assistance.
• Additionally, students are responsible for arranging housing.

• All applicants to Eastside Catholic School apply through the same application process and with the same application deadlines.
• All applicants are considered through a holistic review process.
• Sibling and legacy benefits from related applicants are only considered after academic and non-cognitive factors have been considered.

• Yes! Our Options Program offers individualized academic and life skills development for high school students (grades 9-12) with diagnosed intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. This student-centered special education program is designed to build essential foundations and empower students the confidence and skills they need to live active, independent lives within their community.

Once the initial application deadlines for the 2026-27 school year have passed, we will review all complete applications on a space-available basis.

• The application process starts one year before your desired start date.
  • For example, those applicants interested in Fall 2026 should start their application in September 2025.
  • Applications for Eastside Catholic High School are due January 6, 2026.
  • Applications for Eastside Catholic Middle School are due February 4, 2026.
• After the deadlines have passed, we will continue to review applications on a space available basis.
• Enrolling after the deadline may limit access to preferred classes and availability of tuition assistance funds.

We encourage families to submit applications ahead of the deadline — and there are distinct advantages to doing so:

• Priority Review by the Admissions Committee - Applications are reviewed as soon as they are complete. Early submissions stand out in a smaller pool, giving your application more visibility before the deadline rush.

• Demonstrates Strong Interest - Submitting early signals your genuine enthusiasm and commitment to Eastside Catholic.

• Peace of Mind - Avoid last-minute stress and enjoy a smoother application process.

• Flexibility if Additional Materials Are Needed - Applying early gives you time to respond if we need further documentation.

High School Early Application Deadline: December 21, 2025
To qualify for early review, submit the following by December 21:

• Application form and fee
• Student essay
• Student interview

Teacher evaluations, transcripts and other school documents are not required until the January 6, 2026 final deadline.

Middle School Applications
We do not have a formal early application deadline for middle school, but early applications are highly encouraged for the same benefits.

• We consider all parts of the application and take an integrated approach to our admission process.
• We value strong, non-cognitive characteristics as well as academics.

• Our Admissions Committee is comprised of Admissions Team members, faculty members and school administrators who review applications and collaborate on the admission decisions.

• In reviewing applications, we look at applicants holistically.
• Applicants are evaluated based on their academic records and non-cognitive variables.
• We recognize students who demonstrate or show a willingness to support the characteristics outlined by our Touchstones.
• Test scores are just one of the many pieces considered in our holistic review process. There is no minimum score requirement.

• Each year, we receive more applications from qualified candidates than we have openings.
• Decisions to admit, wait pool or deny candidates are influenced by the students applying.
• Applicants added to the wait pool are re-evaluated if space becomes available in the grade to which they applied.

• Yes, students may re-apply next year, and our Admissions Team will communicate fully on action steps.
• Applicants must submit a new application, a current teacher recommendation, and updated grades/transcripts to re-apply.
• Applicants may receive a fee waiver upon request.
• The previous year's application file is available to the current Admission Committee for review.

• The Tuition Assistance Application will be available on September 1, 2025.
• To begin a Tuition Assistance Application, please create an account in Clarity.
• Tuition Assistance Awards are communicated when students receive their admissions notification.

• Yes. All financial information and awards are kept in strict confidence.
• Only our Financial Aid officer has access to the financial forms you submit.
• In the case of separated and/or divorced parents, no information will be given by the school to either parent regarding the other parent’s financial disclosures. 

• Need-based tuition assistance grants remain the same unless there is a significant shift in a family’s financial position.
• An application to confirm the level of need will be required each year a student is enrolled.
• Merit awards remain consistent year-to-year through middle school and high school as long as a student is in good standing.
