The Commons is where you can find students relaxing before school and in between classes as they catch up on school work, socialize with friends and teachers. Above the Commons are EC orange and blue flags which represent school spirit courtesy of Boosters.
Students are greeted each morning as they walk up the staircase to the courtyard.
Teachers use technology throughout the curriculum to encourage creativity, critical thinking and problem solving. Students also have access to technology-specific courses, including programming languages, design and more.

Our High School Options Program offers individualized academic and life skill development for high school students with diagnosed intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

The Performing Arts Program at EC elevates students from participants to creators. Students here learn to listen and respond authentically, and build genuine relationships while embodying fictional characters.
In the high school, 17 different EC teams compete in the Metro AAA league. There are three seasons of different sports as well as year-long opportunities. On average, 75 percent of our students participate in at least one sport.
In middle school, students participate in the highly regarded CYO athletics program.
