Community Service Club Celebrates Water Well Installation in Ghana

Eastside Catholic students, faculty, staff and parents filled the Chapel with energy and joy as they gathered to celebrate the installation of a new water well at Sakoti Junior High in Ghana. Made possible through the generous support of the EC community, the moment was both uplifting and meaningful.

Joined by Jan Kline, vice president and co-founder of Water Access Now, students marked the occasion by writing heartfelt letters and crafting colorful friendship bracelets for their peers in Ghana. The mission of Water Access now is to bring sustainable water to villages in Ghana with the most urgent need, and the EC community definitely played a part in helping to do so! The celebration was a powerful reminder of what connection, compassion and community can accomplish.
