Nature, Laughter and Growth at the Eighth Grade Retreat
In October, Eastside Catholic eighth grade students participated in their annual retreat, a day dedicated to fostering connection, reflection and class unity. A highlight of the experience was walking along the scenic Snoqualmie Valley Trail, where students gathered in small groups to play games, share stories and build lasting friendships.
Surrounded by the beauty of nature, the retreat offered a refreshing opportunity to step away from daily routines and focus on community through laughter and meaningful conversation. This memorable milestone in students’ middle school journey remains a cherished tradition, reinforcing the values of togetherness and growth that define the Eastside Catholic experience.
