Eastside Catholic junior Molly Bowser was named the Sammamish Rotary Student of the Month for February in the Visual Arts category. The Sammamish Rotary Club recognized Mollie for her talent, creativity and achievements in the visual arts.

Each month, the Rotary hosts a luncheon honoring nominated students, their families and their nominating teachers. During the event, the nominating teacher shares why the student was selected, followed by a certificate presentation and a small gift. The highlight of the luncheon is a brief speech by the student along with a short Q&A session with attendees.

Rotary members support the community through volunteer service and funding that helps address food insecurity and promote youth leadership locally and globally.
