Eastside Catholic School Names Jeremy Thielbahr Head Football Coach

Sammamish, WA — Eastside Catholic School is pleased to announce the return of Jeremy Thielbahr as Head Football Coach, following a search that attracted more than 70 applicants from across the country.

The depth and caliber of interest in the position reflect the tradition, competitiveness and reputation of Eastside Catholic Football. After a comprehensive review of candidates from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, school leadership determined that Thielbahr’s proven leadership, deep connection to Eastside Catholic and clear vision for the program uniquely position him to lead the Crusaders into their next chapter.

“This is a special moment for our program. Jeremy helped put Eastside Catholic Football on the map, and he is fully committed to building on that legacy. He understands what this program represents and is all in on leading it forward,” shared Executive Director of Athletics Jeff Feller.

During his previous tenure at Eastside Catholic, Thielbahr guided the football program through one of the most successful periods in school athletic history. Under his leadership, the Crusaders captured multiple WIAA State Championships, earned national recognition and consistently competed at the highest level in Washington State—establishing Eastside Catholic Football as one of the region’s premier programs.

“Eastside Catholic has always held a special place in my heart, and returning is an honor I don’t take for granted,” said Thielbahr. “I’ve loved watching this program evolve, and I’m excited to dive back in with our athletes and staff to reach the next level. The foundation is strong—now it’s time to build.”

Thielbahr and his wife, Meredith, are excited to continue building their family’s future within the Eastside Catholic community. Meredith is a Regional Managing Partner at Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm, and their children—Kate (11) and Tanyon (7) are also excited to be a part of the EC community.
