Eastside Catholic Football Gives Back
When a Friday night varsity football game was unexpectedly canceled, Eastside Catholic student-athletes and coaches chose to make the most of the moment by giving back to the local community. The team spent the afternoon volunteering at Regeneration Church in Sammamish, assisting with landscaping, cleanup and other improvement projects.
Following their community service, Pastor Alan and his family joined the team for dinner, which led to a lively evening of karaoke and a movie night shared with teammates, cheerleaders and families.
What began as a substitute for a missed game became something much more—a powerful reminder of the values of service, growth, and community that define Eastside Catholic athletics, both on and off the field.
