Eastside Catholic Welcomes Ja'Warren Hooker as Strength and Conditioning Coach

Eastside Catholic School is proud to announce the appointment of our newest Strength and Conditioning Coach Ja'Warren Hooker. Coach Hooker joins the Eastside Catholic Athletics staff with certifications as a NASM Personal Trainer and Speed and Agility Coach. Specializing in training regimen design and periodization as well as a background in athlete monitoring and performance data management, Coach Hooker brings a wealth of experience, leadership and mentoring opportunities to the Crusaders athletic program.

Following an illustrious athletic and academic career at the University of Washington (1997-2001), Coach Hooker became the Founder and CEO of Stretch 22 where he built premium assisted-stretch and performance-recovery programs aligned with strength and conditioning goals for clients.

Some of Coach Hooker's accolades as a University of Washington Husky and professional track athlete include:

  • University of Washington Hall of Fame inductee, '14
  • PAC-10 Male Track Athlete of the Year, '98
  • Set University of Washington record in the 100-meter dash, '98
  • Competed in 2000 Sydney Olympics for team USA in the 4x400 meter relay squad
  • Competed in 2003 Pan-American Games, winning a silver medal in the relay competition
