Eastside Catholic Girls Basketball Captures 3A State Title

Eastside Catholic captured the 3A girls state basketball championship with a 55-43 victory over Bellevue High School on Saturday night at the Tacoma Dome, finishing a remarkable postseason run and securing the program’s first state title. Amy N. led the Crusaders with 23 points and nine rebounds in the championship win.

The championship marked a historic moment for the Crusaders, who delivered a complete performance on one of Washington’s biggest stages. Eastside Catholic built momentum in the second half with strong defense, timely scoring and composure down the stretch to keep Bellevue at bay.

With the win under the bright lights of the Tacoma Dome, the Crusaders capped an outstanding season and celebrated a hard-earned state championship in front of a packed crowd of supporters. The victory highlighted the team’s resilience, chemistry and determination throughout the tournament run.
