Eastside Catholic School celebrates five seniors who have signed commitments this spring to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level.

All five student-athletes will graduate as members of the Class of 2026.

Grace Russell: Russell has committed to the University of Montana's women’s soccer program. She was named First Team All-Metro in 2025-26 and played a key role in the Crusaders' Metro League championship run.

Dash Lamebull-Ingram: Lamebull-Ingram, a dual-sport athlete in varsity basketball and track and field, will join the track and field program at Eastern Washington University.

Jay Baxter: Baxter, a right-handed pitcher, has committed to the baseball program at San Diego Mesa College.

Yabi Aklog: Aklog, a key member of the varsity boys basketball team that finished fifth in the 2025-26 WIAA State Tournament, has committed to the men’s basketball program at Oregon State University. Aklog was a First-Team All-Metro Mountain Division selection in 2025-26.

Eastside Catholic Executive Director of Athletics Jeff Feller reflected on the student-athletes’ impact not only in their respective sports but through the intangible qualities that have marked their successes at Eastside Catholic.

“Signing day is a powerful reflection of what makes our community special,” Feller said. “With five outstanding student-athletes taking the next step in their journeys, and a large gathering of parents, peers, coaches and families, the moment was about far more than athletics. Their achievements represent not only their talent, but their dedication, resilience and character. Each of these students has left a lasting mark on our school, embodying a commitment to excellence in the classroom, in competition and in the way they lead and serve others. We are incredibly proud of who they are and all they will continue to accomplish.”

These commitments reflect both individual achievement and the continued strength of Eastside Catholic’s athletic programs. Each has played a key role in their team’s success, contributing to competitive seasons and strong performances. Their next steps at the collegiate level highlight a shared commitment to hard work, teamwork and excellence—both on and off the field.
