Eastside Catholic alumna Katie Treacy ’22 continues to make her mark in athletics and academics. After graduating early from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo this past June with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Katie capped off her collegiate swimming career as team captain in her final year. Now, she’s taking on a new challenge: the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii.

Katie qualified to compete in the prestigious event on October 11, representing the women’s 18–24 age group. Her journey from EC to elite endurance competition is a testament to her dedication, resilience and drive.
