At Eastside Catholic, student leadership is more than a title—it’s a lived experience. Our Student Ambassador program invites enthusiastic, service-minded students to represent EC to future families. Each year, more than one-third of our students apply, and those selected serve as role models who embody our Touchstones of servant leadership, relationships and academic excellence.

Student Ambassadors are at the heart of our admissions experience. They help prepare campus for Open House events, lead tours, greet families at Future Crusader Nights and host visiting students during Crusader for a Day. Their presence offers prospective families something no brochure or website can deliver: real stories from real students.

“I have been an ambassador since sixth grade, and giving tours to new families is one of my favorite things to do because I get to share with them why EC is so amazing,” shared Arianna S. ’26. Younger students feel the same pride. “I like being a student ambassador because I get to introduce my favorite school to other people,” said Milo J. ’31.

These interactions often become defining moments for visiting students. Maddy P. ’31 remembers her own experience clearly: “I remember when I was a Crusader for a Day, I felt nervous. Having felt that way, I can understand the feelings of the touring students and help ease their nerves.”

Ambassadors also understand the role they play in showcasing EC’s values. “It’s an amazing way to show new families what EC has to offer from a student’s point of view—and a great way to demonstrate the EC Touchstones, especially servant leadership and relationships,” explained Ivaan B. ’31.

For many ambassadors, the rewards continue long after the tours end. “Since my first year as a sixth grader, I have always participated in the Student Ambassador program,” said Colby J. ’28. “One thing that I love about this program is seeing all my past Crusader for a Day visitors in the school and saying hello to them in the halls.”

For other students, the program is an opportunity to give back. “Being an EC ambassador is important to me because I want to represent what the school means to me and give back to what the school has provided for me,” said Sophia T. ’28. “I strive to excel in academics, create new relationships and be a leader through the example of Jesus Christ.”

Through their service, Student Ambassadors strengthen communication skills, grow as leaders, earn service hours and make lasting connections—while helping future families imagine themselves thriving at Eastside Catholic. Their voices, smiles and lived experiences are often what help future Crusaders feel right at home.
