Catholic Schools Week at Eastside Catholic School

A weeklong reflection on how Eastside Catholic students live out our Franciscan faith through prayer, action and joyful service.

Catholic Schools Week at Eastside Catholic School is a time to reflect on who we are and how we live our faith each day. Rooted in the Charism of St. Francis and St. Clare of Assisi, our Catholic identity calls us to pray—and to move our feet—putting faith into action to create positive change in our communities and our world—from the ground up and at the margins. Throughout the week, our students share what that Charism looks like lived out on campus.

How are we called to see, love, accept and include, listen and live to build a community of compassion, care, peace and unity?

DAY 1 — SEE God in all things

Students reflect on what it means to see God in all things and how recognizing the sacred in everyday moments shapes daily life at Eastside Catholic.

DAY 2 — LOVE like Jesus loves

Students show what it looks like to love Jesus loves, demonstrating compassion, service and care for others across campus.

DAY 3 — ACCEPT and INCLUDE everybody

Students exemplify what it means to accept and include everybody, showing how solidarity and belonging strengthen our community.

DAY 4 — LISTEN to understand

Students reflect on how listening with openness and humility builds understanding and unity within our community.

DAY 5 — LIVE with simplicity and joy

Students showcase how simplicity and joy shaper their faith, relationships and everyday life at EC.

Through their words and experiences, Eastside Catholic students show how faith translates into meaningful and tangible action. By living the Charism of St. Francis and St. Clare, they act daily to create a community committed to compassion, inclusion and understanding—inviting all of us to pray, move out feet, and serve others with joy.
