June 2022
Eastside Catholic has officially completed the visit portion of the NWAIS reaccreditation process. Our NWAIS Reaccreditation Visiting Team reviewed all 14 sections of the self-study and spent time interviewing students, faculty, staff and volunteers. The team also observed classes and daily operations of the school. Eastside Catholic is grateful to both the NWAIS itself, as well as the professionals on the visiting team for their time and dedication to this work.
The visiting team will now present its full report with recommendations to the NWAIS Board of Governors, who will issue the final reaccreditation decision in August 2022. At that time, EC will receive a full report. Based on our feedback, the staff is confident that EC met the threshold for reaccreditation and are optimistic we will be granted a full reaccreditation.
March 6-10, 2022
Eastside Catholic is excited to welcome the NWAIS Reaccreditation Visiting Team to our campus. The team is comprised of eleven leaders from NWAIS schools throughout the region and is chaired by Grant Beckwith (American Heritage School), Alan Braun (The Valley School) and Susan Rice (Charles Wright). These chairs, along with the other school professionals on the team, will spend three and a half days visiting campus, meeting with various constituencies and individuals in order to offer their perspective on our school.

September 28, 2021
On Monday, September 27, the NWAIS Reaccreditation Committee Chairs Grant Beckwith of the American Heritage School in Utah and Alan Braun of the Valley School in Seattle visited our campus. During their day-long visit, they met with our students, faculty and staff, administration, and trustees to learn more about our school and programming, as well as our goals. They shared positive feedback on our self-study document and on their time at EC. The chairs determined that we are ready for our March visit, which will involve the entire visiting team, comprised of 10-12 additional members representing schools throughout the association. We will provide further updates, information and reminders closer to March.
