About EC

Educating our region's leaders for three decades
Since 1980 Eastside Catholic School (EC) has transformed young men and women into lifelong learners and compassionate leaders. EC’s innovative, faith-based curriculum challenges, encourages and nurtures students to achieve their God-given potential through a rigorous college preparatory program that is enhanced by leadership training at every grade level and enriched by a culture of community service and compassion for others. In addition to our Middle School and High School programs, our Options Program offers integrated special education for high school-age students.
Located on 50 acres in Sammamish, Washington, Eastside Catholic’s beautiful state-of-the-art campus is home to a 240-student middle school in addition to the only coeducational Catholic high school on the east side of Lake Washington in the Seattle area. The facilities were designed to create an optimum learning environment; they include sophisticated science labs, integrated classroom technology and dedicated gathering areas for student collaboration. The campus is also home to the St. Francis of Assisi chapel, a 12,000-volume library, two gymnasiums, a lighted 2,000-seat stadium and a multipurpose turf field.

Eastside Catholic is accredited by the Northwest Association of Independent Schools (NWAIS) and approved by the Archdiocese of Seattle and the state of Washington.

Why Eastside Catholic?
At Eastside Catholic School, we’ve developed an innovative educational model that gives students the skills they need — both academic and personal — to succeed in the changing world of the 21st century. Equally important, we nurture the deep moral convictions and commitment to service that will help them to make the world a better place.
